The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the ticket sales schedule for the 2023 World Cup. The 2023 ICC World Cup will kick off on October 5 in Ahmedabad, with defending champions England facing New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
A total of 48 matches will be played between October 6 and November 19 across 10 venues in India, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Dharamsala, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, and Bengaluru.

World Cup 2023 Ticket Sales Phases
According to the initial schedule, ticket sales were originally planned to conclude on September 15 during the final phase.
August 25: Ticket sales begin for Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches.
August 30: Ticket sales start for India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum.
August 31: Ticket sales open for India matches at Chennai, Delhi, and Pune.
September 1: Ticket sales begin for India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai.
September 2: Ticket sales open for India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata.
September 3: Ticket sales start for India matches at Ahmedabad.
September 15: Ticket sales close with the final phase.

ICC World Cup 2023 Ticket Price
Registration for the sale of tickets began on August 25. The prices of tickets range from as low as INR 499 and soar as high as INR 24,000.
This World Cup marks the first time that India is solely hosting the tournament in its history, with 10 top cricket nations participating. The tournament will follow a round-robin format where each team plays the other nine teams. The top four teams will qualify for the knockout stage, including the semi-finals.
The first semi-final will take place on Wednesday, November 15 in Mumbai, and the second semi-final will be held the following day in Kolkata. Both semi-finals will have reserve days. The final match of the 2023 ICC World Cup will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
