Only a few days back, OnePlus unveiled the latest colour of their flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 5T. Sandstone White variant of the OnePlus 5T was announced for the Chinese and US market. But, OnePlus is not done by just two colours of OnePlus 5T. On January 11, OnePlus is likely to launch a new bright red colour for the 5T. The new bright colour is called ‘Lava Red’ and was launched in China as a limited edition model. OnePlus 5T was initially launched in November with just one colour variant, the midnight black. Subsequently, with the release of Hollywood movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi, OnePlus launched the ‘OnePlus 5T: Star Wars Edition’ smartphone at Rs 38,999.
OnePlus 5T ‘Lava Red’ colour option has been confirmed to launch in the Indian market. However, OnePlus has not confirmed the launch of the device, but a teaser image has popped up on Social Media handle of the brand. As per the teaser, the company is in the mode to launch the smartphone in red colour. The teaser also highlights that the variant will be out in next 2 days, which means on January 11.
However, the pricing, even the availability of the device is yet to be announced. The smartphone is expected to be in the similar price bracket that of the original OnePlus 5T Midnight Black variant.
As far as the specification is concerned, the OnePlus 5T has a 6.01-inch full-High Definition Plus AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. 5T comes with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of inbuilt storage. OnePlus 5T has dual rear cameras with 16MP and 20MP sensors, even the front-facing camera has a 16 MP sensor. The phone has 3300 mAh battery and supports quick charge with OnePlus’s Dash Charging technology. The phone had Face Unlock feature which can be used to unlock your device with your face.
