Intex, in a build-up to the Valentine’s Day, has launched a new budget entrant to its Elyt smartphone range – Elyt Dual Royal Red Limited Edition. The new variant of Elyt Dual comes in a shining red colour to commemorate Valentine’s Day that falls on February 14. The Intex Elyt Dual Royal Red Limited Edition has dual front cameras as its biggest USP and will be available to purchase from offline stores at a price of Rs 6,999.
The new Intex Elyt Dual Royal Red Limited Edition colour variant will sit next to the Intex Elyt Dual Champagne and Black colour variants that were launched in November last year. It was launched at a price of Rs 6,999 for both the colour variants. The Intex Elyt Dual comes with a dual camera setup on the front side, as we said. It comprises of an 8-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.0 and f/2.2 aperture sizes, respectively, that offers a ‘Bokeh’ effect for selfies. The handset comes with an additional feature where the users can refocus to edit the photo after taking it. Alongside, there are features such as Background effect to change the background in the photograph.
The Intex Elyt Dual comes with specifications such as a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on the top, dual SIM card support, and Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC9850 processor coupled with 512MHz Mali 400 GPU for graphics. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). In addition to the front dual cameras, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash module.
As for the connectivity, the Intex Elyt Dual smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack among others. The smartphone measures 145.4×71.7×9.1mm and weighs 149.60 grams.
