The Internet Service Providers Association of India (ISPAI) on Wednesday wrote to telecom secretary Rakesh Garg expressing its inability to selectively disable any of the 857 pornographic websites that were blocked by the DoT recently.

“We submit that direction given by the government is very vague and unimplementable, as ISPs have no way or mechanism to filter out child pornography from URLs to check the content, as the same is dynamic in nature,” ISPAI’s president wrote.
