Forbes has released its list of World's highest paid actors of 2017 and Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg has surpassed actors from across the world and claimed the top position in the list. But among the top 10 actors there are three Bollywood stars. They are Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and completing the list is Akshay Kumar. They are ranked at eighth, ninth and tenth positions respectively. Among the three while Shah Rukh and Akshay have retained their position, Salman has jumped from rank 14 (last year) to rank ninth. Wahlberg has snatched the position from last year's top-ranked star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson with a total earning of at $68 million – courtesy of Daddy's Home 2, Transformers: The Last Knight and reality show Wahlbergers.

Following Wahlberg is last year's number one Dwayne Johnson who took home a pay cheque of $65 million thanks to Baywatch, Jumanji and TV show Ballers. At #3 is actor Vin Diesel, whose earnings amount to $54.5 million.

Fast and Furious series actor Vin Diesel has earned a total of $54.5 million with help from the turbo-charged XXX- The Return of Xander Cage and Marvel's hit sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Adam Sandler, known for his comedy and his role in The Longest Yard bagged $50.5 million which helped him to be ranked at number 5 by Forbes. Sandler also gave his voice to the protagonist of Hotel Transylvania, Count Vampire.

Jackie Chan, known for his acrobatic fighting style took home $49 million and is in the fifth spot.

Robert Downey Jr, has bagged $48 million thanks to his role of Iron Man in the Marvel's movie Avengers. The Sherlock Holmes is placed at the sixth spot.

The Top Gun star Tom Cruise, whose 2017 flick The Mummy did average worldwide is at sixth spot with $43 million in pocket.

Shah Rukh who is placed at 8th position earns $38 million. The Jab Harry Met Sejal start has earned $5 million more than last year. Forbes summed up SRK’s annual earnings from films and endorsements deals “of brands most Americans have likely never heard of” – this year, Shah Rukh Khan starred in Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal, the last of which was a spectacular flop.

Salman Khan who was at 14 last year has jumped to the ninth position with an earning of $37 million which more than the $28.5 million he made last year. “Khan still earns top rupee,” said Forbes about the 51-year-old actor who counts hosting the reality show Bigg Boss among his many high-paying gigs.

The Toilet-Ek Prem Katha superstar Akshay Kumar completes the list of top 10 with a total earning of $35.5 million. The Jolly LLB 2 star was ranked at the same position last year as well with $31.5 million.
