With Ganesh Visarjan festivities ongoing today (September 6), celebrations sweep across India, marking the conclusion of the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival. From Mumbai and Pune to Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, devotees come together in large numbers to bid festive farewell to Lord Ganesh. The streets buzz with music, chants and colorful processions as idols are immersed in rivers and seas and make-shift Visarjan points.
