Dishoom box office collections: This Varun Dhawan and John Abraham buddy cop thriller has enlivened the already copiously overflowing Bollywood box office collections bag and that too so quickly in the wake of standout movie, the Slman Khan starrer Sultan, which is on the cusp of turning into a Rs 300 crore movie. Both Varun and John have seen success aplenty and the current one must have pleased them no end, especially as no one had given it a semblance of a chance of succeeding. Dishoom box office collections: But before we all start praising the movie to the stars, let us add that it will never turn into a Rs 100 cr club movie. Far from it. But right since its release, Dishoom has been powering the collections at a greater than average rate which has ensured top profit for all concerned. And we should remember that it is managing to do that despite the absence of any controversy – controversy ususally translates into a rise in the number of people in theatre seats. Dishoom box office collections: Now, Dishoom collections, by the 6th day, has grown to a pretty large number. The last day for which the figures are available is for Wednesday and provisionally Dishoom collection on that day crossed Rs 4 crore. That has made its total India collections rise as high as Rs 50.5 crore. Every time a new film of his is released, he has generated a Rs 50+ crore collections figure since his debut in Student of the Year. The biggest hit of his career is Dilwale, which generated Rs 148.72 crore, but this was Shah Rukh Khan's movie and Varun played a secondary role in it. Dishoom box office collections: That kind of a premium CV will be under the filmmakers' scanner and Varun Dhawan is likely to get the chance to score bigger hits in the near future. As it is, the superstars community in Bollywood is small, very small in fact. Aside from the three Khans, there are Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan.
