Dishoom box office collections: Varun Dhawan has been making smart moves in Bollywood and his versatile acting has put him at the forefront of most filmmakers minds whenever they think of new projects. There is quite a bit of justification for it. The actor is versatile and syncs very well with the script no matter how intricate or 'different' it may be. In this regard, if proof is required, just check out the success of Dishoom. While the film also stars John Abraham, half the credit goes to Varun too as the film is about a duo – it is a buddy cop action drama. Dishoom box office collections have been in double digits right from the first day – which was a washout of sorts as unprecedented rain hit India and most cinema lovers opted to stay at home rather than go to the theatre for some fun 'n frolic. Check this out: Friday collections Rs 11.05 cr; Saturday Rs 12.02 cr, Sunday Rs 14.25 cr for a total of Rs 37.32 cr. This total has not created a big record for Varun Dhawan but it has emerged as his second biggest opening weekend collection after ABCD 2 – Any Body Can Dance, which collected Rs 46.35 cr in its first three days in theatres.
