XAT Admit Card 2018: The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) is all set to release the admit card for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2018 next week. Candidates who are registered for appearing for the test can visit the official website of XAT 2018 at xatonline.in to download their admit card once they have been made available. The notification on the official website of states, ‘Admit card can be downloaded from December 27, 2017.’ XAT is conducted every year by XLRI at an all India level to select the most appropriate students for management education. The XAT score is being used by more than 150 institutes for the admission. The exam is slated to take place on January 7, 2018 from 10 AM to 1:35 PM.

BITSAT 2018: Application process for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) 2018 has started on the official website at bitsadmission.com. Candidates who wish to secure admission at one of the Birla Institute of Technology & Science campuses can visit the official website to know more about the admission process. BITSAT is conducted every year for admission to various programmes at one of the four campuses of BITS-Pilani at Pilani, Goa, Dubai and Hyderabad. Students who wish to secure a seat in Integrated First degree programmes including BE, Pharma and MSc programmes in Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) can apply from today. TSPSC Notification 2017: Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), in its latest job notification has announced 300 vacancies for the post of Lab Technician at tspsc.gov.in. Candidates who are willing to apply must note that the last date to apply is January 24, 2017. According to the official notification, candidates who possess intermediate DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) from recognized University are eligible to apply for the posts. Before filling the application form candidates must note that they should be between 18-44 years of age. "Before applying for the posts, candidates shall register themselves as per the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Official Website of TSPSC. Those who have registered in OTR already shall apply by login to their profile using their TSPSC ID and Date of Birth as provided in OTR, " the job notification stated.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results now on the official website. The University of Calcutta has declared the results for BA / BSc Part-I (Honours & Major) Examination that was conducted under 2009 Regulations, Vide CSR-54/09 Dated 24-11-2009 along with the BA / BSc / Part-I (Honours & Major) Examination, 2017 ( Under 2016 Regulations, Vide CSR-62/16 Dated 02-12-2016).

HAL recruitment 2017: Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking, has announced vacancies for the posts of Technical Operator and Paramedical person at hal-india.com. Candidates who are interested and willing to apply must note that the last date of applying online is January 8, 2018. As per the official notification, 10th Standard plus NTC (ITI in Fitter Trade), NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in respective discipline can apply for the posts of technical operators whereas, for Paramedical Posts, a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Selection of candidates will be done through Written Test, based on the Marks secured in the order of Merit in the respective category. “Shortlisted candidates, on the basis of marks/percentage scored in the qualifying examination(s) prescribed for a particular trade/discipline, would only be called for Written Test. Candidates have to appear Written Test at their own expenses, on the date, time and venue, which will be mentioned in their Admit Card,” the job notification read. The candidates will have to download their Admit Card from HAL website. The upper age limit of the candidate should be 28 years.
