The deadline to apply for the posts is January 2, 2018. Also, the deadline to fill the application for the candidates from far-flung areas is January 9, 2018. The eligibility criteria for MTS Ministerial is 10th passed or equivalent whereas for the job of a tyreman is 10th passed or equivalent with 2 years experience in the trade. For the vacancy of Staff nurse, the candidates should be 10th passed or equivalent and a certificate of training in an approved hospital as a nurse. Telephone operator post demands 10th passed or equivalent and proficiency in the handling of PBX Board. If you want to be a cook in Indian Navy, the force demands 10th passed with 1-year experience in the trade. The age limit for MTS, fireman, cook and other posts is 56 years.

2) Railways Recruitment 2017: The Eastern Railways has invited interested and eligible candidates to apply for a total of 863 vacant positions of Act Apprentices in Liluah Workshop and Howrah Division. Candidates who wish to apply for the same can do so before December 7, 2017 which is the last date for the submission of application. According to the notification released by the Eastern Railways, the candidates shall have to apply for one unit only, either for Liluah Workshop or for Howrah Divison. No candidates can apply for both the units in which case the application is liable to be rejected. The application containing the application should be superscribed “Application for Liluah Workshop” or “Application for Howrah Division.” (IE)

3) RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2017: RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2017 application forms are now available at the official website of Reserve Bank of India – rbi.org.in. The application process to fill in 526 OA posts has already begun and as per the official notification released on November 17 by RBI, the recruitment process to hire the Office Attendants for various offices of RBI will include an Online Test which will be followed by a Language Proficiency Test. The online test ID likely to be conducted in December 2017 or January 2018. The exact date of the examination will be announced by RBI on its official website. The candidates willing to take the examination will have to pay the application form fee online by December 7, 2017. (IE)

4) UPSC CDS 2018: Union Public Service Commission has invited candidates to apply for its Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I) 2018 at upsc.gov.in. All interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of the commission now to apply for the same. The official notification released on the official website of UPSC states ‘The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.’ The Online Applications last date is December 4, 2017 till 6:00 PM. Further, the notification also states that ‘The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (www.upsc.gov.in) for downloading by candidates. No eAdmit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail i.d. while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.’ (IE)

5) Indian Navy recruitment 2017: The Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala has invited candidates to apply for its flagship four-year Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) programme with a BTech degree. The notification issued by the Academy clearly states that the programme is only for unmarried male candidates. While the applications are now open, the candidates can apply for the same only till November 30, 2017. Cadets of the INAC (BTech) course are subjected to the academic rigours of a carefully-structured syllabus spread over a four-year period. Students upon successful completion of their 10+2 scholastic system with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their senior secondary electives, have to clear the national level entrance examination conducted by UPSC (twice a year) followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which is a five day long comprehensive assessment of various officer like qualities (OLQ) or the qualities required to become a Naval officer.
