JEE Advanced 2018: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has announced the eligibility criteria for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018 at jeeadv.ac.in. According to the notification, next year more students will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced than the previous year i.e 2017. Candidates who are among the top 2,24,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2018 will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2018. In JEE Advanced 2017, 1.7 lakh students appeared in the examination. The official notification reads, “The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are: 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these four categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates.”

TSSET result 2017: Osmania University (OU) has announced the results for Telangana State- State Eligibility Test (TSSET) 2017. The results are declared on the official website of the University at Osmania.ac.in and telanganaset.org. A huge number of candidates who were interested and eligible have applied and appeared for the exam. The exam was held on 11 June 2017 for 29 subjects. TSSET 2017 was the exam conducted for recruitment of eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor or Lecturer. Candidates who had appeared for the examination can now check the result at the official website of the varsity.

TSPSC FSO Key: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released the preliminary answer key for the written exam to recruit Forest Section Officers in the Forest Department of the state on its official website. The exam was held on October 22. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can now visit the official website tspsc.gov.in to view the preliminary answer keys for General knowledge and General Mathematics. The commission has released the answer key for both the papers separately. Candidates can raise objections to the answer keys online through the TSPSC website from October 28.

Karnataka PUC timetable 2018: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) today has released the II Pre-University (PU) exam schedule on its official website at kseeb.kar.nic.in. Candidates preparing for the same can download the complete list of exam dates from the official website and start studying for the examination accordingly. The II PU exams are scheduled to be held from March 1 to March 16. Tanveer Sait, the Primary and Secondary Education Minister, according to reports has announced that the exam results will be announced by the end of April.

Karnataka SSLC timetable 2018: The class 10th or Senior School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) provisional timetable for Karnataka board students has been released by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) at kseeb.kar.nic.in. candidates preparing for the same can download the complete list of exam dates from the official website and start studying for the examination accordingly. Along with the SSC timetable, the board has also released the II Pre-University (PU) exam schedule. The exam is set to begin from the month of March next year.
