UPSC recruitment 2017: The Union Public Service Service Commission, in its new job notification, has announced 19 vacancies in various central ministries at upsc.gov.in. The commission will appoint candidates through the direct recruitment process. According to the official notification, posts like Assistant Soil conservation officer under Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers, a Scientific officer under Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Nautical Surveyor-cum-Deputy Director-General under Ministry of Shipping will be filled through this recruitment drive. ISRO recruitment 2017: Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, one of the lead centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced 30 vacancies under various departments at shar.gov.in. According to the official notification, various posts — Scientific Assistant (MPC) (Chemistry), Scientific Assistant (MPC) (Physics), Technical Assistant –Civil Engineering, Photography and others will be filled in this recruitment drive. JEE Advanced 2018: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has announced the eligibility criteria for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018. According to the notification, next year more students will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced than the previous year i.e 2017. Candidates who are among the top 2,24,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2018 will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2018. In JEE Advanced 2017, 1.7 lakh students appeared in the examination. (Website)

BPSSC SI recruitment 2017: The online application process for the post of police sub-inspector has been initiated by the Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC). The commission has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates to fill a total of 1717 posts. Candidates who want to apply for the vacancy can do so now by visiting the official website of the commission at bpssc.bih.nic.in. UP board time table 2018: The class 10th and 12th examination date sheet has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad on its official website at upmsp.edu.in for next year. While the dates have been released, students who are preparing to appear for the examination can download their exam time table from the official website after sometimes once it has been uploaded on the website. While the official announcement of the examination is awaited on the official website, the exams for class 10th and 12th will begin from February 6. (IE)
