It is almost time to say goodbye to yet another fruitful year and many publications have come out with their top 10s and 100s lists. After Google, Yahoo and, Youtube, Forbes has unveiled a list of 21 sports personalities in the 2017 India Celebrity 100 list – Forbes has listed the top 100 personalities out of which we have culled out the sportsmen and sportswomen to create a top 10 of our own. This brings us to the question as to who are the top 10 sports personalities of 2017 and more than that, who has topped the list. So, here are 21 top sports personalities in 2017 Forbes India Celebrity 100 list. And who are the winners from Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Rohit Sharma, and Kidambi Srikanth………
20) Bhuvneshwar Kumar- Bhuvi is currently India’s bowling spearhead. Originally ranked 99 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities, Kumar is at 20 in our sports list. His earnings as per 2017 are Rs 2.53 crore. 
19) Sania Mirza- Ranked 98 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities. She is at the 19th spot in sports list. The 31-year-old tennis player earned Rs 2.80 crore in 2017. However, in 2016, she had earnings of Rs 14.57 crore. 
18) Hardik Pandya- Superstar of Indian cricket team, Pandya was ranked at 94 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities, however, in sports list, he can be spotted at the 18th spot. The 24-year-old Gujarati boy has an earnings of Rs 3.04 crore. -
17) Umesh Yadav- Ranked 90 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities, this team India pacer is 17th in sports personalities catalogue. His earnings in 2017 are Rs 3.94 crore.

16) KL Rahul- This batsman in Team India was at the 89th spot in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities. Rahul makes it to 16th rank and has earnings of Rs 4.04 crore.

15) Murali Vijay- The 33-years-old batsman from Tamil Nadu was ranked at 87 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. Murali, however, is 15th in this inventory and has earnings of Rs 4.20 crore.

14) Cheteshwar Pujara- This prolific batsman is known for his formidable batting and the 29-year-old was ranked at 86 Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. Pujara’s earnings in 2017 are Rs 5.48 crore.
13) Ajinkya Rahane- Rahane was at an 85th spot in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. The 29-years-old right-hand batsman has earnings of Rs 5.56 crore. However, the earnings have gone down as in 2016 he had earnings of Rs 11.67 crore. -
12) Kidambi Srikanth- Kidambi has had a spectacular season this year, and was ranked 83 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. The 24-years-old is ranked 12th on this list and has an earnings of Rs 6.13 crore.
11) Yuvraj Singh- Yuvi who has struggled to make a comeback in the Indian squad was ranked 68 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. In 2017 Yuvraj earned Rs 11.60 crore, however, it is less than his earnings in 2016. Last year he had earnings of Rs 16 crores. -
10) Anirban Lahiri- Ranked 63 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list, Lahiri who made cut to top 10 had earnings of Rs 12.44 crore. In 2016, he had earnings of Rs 12.85 crore. He is at 10th spot in sporting earnings list.

9) Shikhar Dhawan- Dhawan was ranked 43 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list, however, he is 9th on the sports list. He has earnings of Rs 15.94 crore in 2017 but had earned Rs 17.73 crore in 2016.
8) Rohit Sharma- The king of double hundreds, Sharma was ranked 30 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. He has earnings of Rs 30.82 crore. This year, the Mumbai Indians captain saw a hike in his earnings. Last year his earnings were recorded at Rs 24.17 crore. He is at 8th spot on sports list. -
7) Saina Nehwal- Nehwal has had a mixed season this year and she was ranked at 29 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. She has earnings of Rs 31 crore. Meanwhile, last year her earnings were recorded at Rs 20.18 crore. In a big surprise, she manages to beat a number of top cricketers and takes up the 7th spot.

6) Ravindra Jadeja- Jaddu was ranked 24 in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list and is his earning is recorded at Rs 34.58 crore. Jadeja saw a significant rise in his earnings as compared to last year. In 2016 his earnings were 7.53 crore. Jadeja is on 6th spot.
5) Ravichandran Ashwin- Ashwin was ranked at 23rd spot in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list and his earnings were recorded at Rs 34.67 crore. In 2016 his earnings were recorded at Rs 15.55 crores. he makes it to 5th spot in sports list. -
4) PV Sindhu- Sindhu has had an excellent career in 2017 with her earnings at Rs 57.25 crore. Ranked at 13 Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list, her last year's earnings was at Rs 3.42 crore. On sports list, she is at 4th spot.

3) MS Dhoni- Captain Cool earned Rs 63.77 crore crore and was ranked at 8th spot in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. He had earned Rs 122.48 crore in 2016.
2) Sachin Tendulkar- God of Cricket as he is called, was ranked 5th in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. His earnings as for 2017 was recorded at Rs 82.5 crore and in 2016 he had earned Rs 58 crore. Amazingly, he is at No. 2 in sports list. 
1) Virat Kohli- Indian captain is the torchbearer of sports in India and was ranked 3rd in Forbes top 100 India Celebrities list. His earnings as for 2017 was recorded at Rs 100.72 crore while for 2016 it was Rs 134.44 crore. He is No. 1 on sports list.
