It has been quite a year for India in terms of sports, especially for Indian cricket. Virat Kohli and men have established themselves as the powerhouse to reckon with on world stage with their sheer dominance between the 22-yards. Notably, Yahoo announced its top 10 best cricket moments in 2017, which were most searched by Indians through the year that is about to end. One of the most interesting searches of the lot is that of Jasprit Bumrah’s no-ball. However, Indian captain Virat Kohli has featured in the list too. See the top 10 cricket moments of 2017:

1) Kuldeep Yadav hat trick- Kuldeep Yadav became the third Indian after Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev to bag an ODI hat-trick. Kuldeep, bowling his eighth over, dismissed Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins off in successive deliveries. (Reuters)

2) Jasprit Bumrah no-ball- The Indian pacer has been trolled a lot for his no-ball. The first instance came in June when during the ICC Champions Trophy Finals. Fakhar Zaman had a lucky escape in the all-important final when he was batting on 3 as Bumrah overstepped. The result was Farhan’s crucial century and Pakistan defeating India. 3) International cricket returns to Pakistan- Pakistan may have taken its biggest step yet towards full restoration of cricket at home by staging the first of three Twenty20 internationals against the World XI, a team from seven nations assembled by coach Andy Flower on behalf of the Pakistan Task Team that was formed by International Cricket Council in 2010 to revive cricket in Pakistan. 5) Rashid Khan's 7/18 against West Indies- The 18-year-old helped dismiss the hosts for 149 after Afghanistan scored 212-6 in St Lucia. The Windies were 68-2 before Rashid entered the attack and took two wickets in two balls in both of his first two overs. At one point Rashid had figures of 4-1 in a spell which lasted 8.4 overs. (AP)

6) Virat Kohli fastest to reach 9,000 ODI runs- India skipper Virat Kohli is the fastest to reach 9000 ODI runs, taking just 194 innings to achieve the feat. He achieved the feat even as he scored his 32nd century in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand at the Green Park stadium. Courtesy his innings of 113 in the match, the Team India captain broke de Villiers' record (205 innings) of the fastest cricketer to have reached the milestone. (Reuters)

7) West Indies' remarkable comeback to win a Test in England- West Indies pulled off a dramatic 5-wicket win against England at Headingley on Tuesday. This was their first Test win on English shores since 2000. Chasing a stiff target of 322, Windies batsmen displayed impeccable application on the final day of play in the second Test to secure an improbable win. Shai Hope was the shining light of the innings as he hit a fine unbeaten hundred (120*) to guide his side to victory. He was ably supported by Kraigg Braithwaite who scored a well made 92. Also with this result, the three match Test series is now tied at 1-1. For his two centuries in both the innings, Shai Hope was deservedly rewarded with the man of the match award. (AP)
