Kolkata rain: Heavy showers disrupted normal life in the southern part of West Bengal early on Monday morning. The first day of the week started off with stormy conditions followed by a massive downpour. Most schools and colleges in the state reopened on Monday post the Durga Puja break but had to declare a holiday owing to the turbulent weather.
