In the afternoon on Monday, Cyclone Vardah hit Chennai making landfall in the region. Heavy rainfall and strong wind caused damage to properties while making over thousands of people to go homeless and take shelter in relief camps. Two people also killed due to the rampage of the cyclone on the day. Though the Indian Metereological Department predicted that the intensity of cyclone will reduce by tonight, here are some measures that should be taken care of even after the landfall ended.
