Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday visited Gaya, Bihar, where he launched and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth around Rs 13,000 crore. He was accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and state leaders. PM Modi flagged two trains, launched new highways, health facilities, bridges, and dedicated key infrastructure projects, including the Buxar Thermal Power Plant. He also inaugurated the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital at Muzaffarpur and a series of water supply and sanitation projects under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme. While addressing a rally, he also related Operation Sindoor to India’s new defence resolution, promising jobs, homes and connectivity for the people of Bihar.
