Over 35 people have died in Gujarat due to rainfall in the last three days. The ongoing downpour has caused Dwarka and Vadodara to resemble floods. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the situation and possible relief efforts. At the Gujarat government’s request, the Indian Army has also sent out six columns to assist with the rescue effort. As of now, 17,800 people have been evacuated. (PTI Photos)
