Rio Olympics 2016 is all set to take off tonight (early morning tomorrow in India) with all the athletes present and accounted for, crowds waiting in anticipation to get thrilled and the officials on tenterhooks wondering if all will go as planned or will a monkey throw a spanner in the works. It is all still work in progress till the very last moment and all of it has to function like clockwork. The entire world is watching and Brazil is under the scanner especially as it has suffered one controversy after the other leading up to the Games. But that is all history and the time to display the traditional Brazilian flamboyance is upon us – and this will be tested from the word go in the opening ceremony itself. However, by the time the events start all the attention will be fixated on athletes and till that happens, check out the breathtaking venues there. Also check out when the Indian viewers can watch the Rio Olympics opening ceremony 2016 – ceremony starts at 21:00 (GMT).
