Monsoon in Delhi: The country's capital city is finally getting its share of the monsoon bounty with yet another heavy spell of rain starting early in the morning today. The rain caused the minimum temperature to drop to 25 degrees Celsius at 8.30 a.m., which is almost two notches below normal for this time of the year, but the humidity was as high as 100 per cent. Those taking early morning baths must have felt the pinch when the cold water came gushing through the showers. (PTI)

On Sunday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 30.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 26.4 while relative humidity ranged between 81 and 97 per cent. (AP)

According to an official, the Safdarjung and Lodhi Road observatories recorded as much as 26.3 mm and 30.2 mm rain respectively, while the the one at Palam recorded 8.1 mm rain, Aya Nagar 7.3 and 0.8 mm rain was recorded in the ridge area. (PTI)
