CBSE UGC NET July 2016 exam will be conducted in 83 subjects. Candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work. The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of CBSE UGC NET July 2016 exam. CBSE UGC NET July 2016 exam will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions Paper-I: This will be of 100 marks and the candidates need to attempt 50 out of 60. Time duration: 1¼ hours (09.30 am to 10.45 am) Paper-II: This will be of 100 marks and the candidates need to attempt all 50 questions. Time duration: 1¼ hours (11.15 am to 12.30 pm) Paper-III: This will be of 150 marks and the candidates need to attempt all 75 questions. Time duration: 2½ hours (2 pm to 4.30 pm). (Source: CBSE)
