Maruti Vitara Brezza Vs Ford EcoSport vs Mahindra TUV300- Styling
Maruti Vitara Brezza is surely one of the better looking cars in its segment with high shoulder line & ground clearance, plastic cladding around the body, roof rails, radiator grille with vertical slats, blackened A & B pillars, square wheel arches with 16-inch alloys, body coloured bumpers, LED daytime running lights, prominent creases, etc. The car seems to have taken its design inspiration from two concepts – XA Alpha and iV-4. Though, it receives enough changes to look quite different from the aforementioned concepts. Talking about the TUV300, the compact SUV looks rugged and has a boxy design. The homegrown automaker claims that the design inspiration for the SUV comes from "battle tank". It comes with raised shoulder, high front nose, straight bonnet, flat roof and high ground clearance. Based on a new ladder frame chassis, the compact SUV looks aggressive with a bold grille with chrome embellishments, black bumper, static bending headlamps and rectangular fog lamps. The side profile looks simple and features square-shaped wheel arches which make its tyres look undersized. With prominent character line, blackened C-pillar and roof rails, the side profile looks decent. At the back, the SUV gets rear-mounted spare wheel and vertical taillamps. The first sub-4 metre SUV in India, Ford EcoSport, surely is a great looking product and gives a tough challenge to Maruti Vitara Brezza in terms of looks. First launched in 2012, the car received its first proper facelift in 2015. Though the updated model looks largely similar to the old one, revised front fascia with signature light guide, daytime running lamps and fog lamps give it a refreshing look. This one too looks quite sporty with 200mm of ground clearance and rugged & rear profiles.
