Wipro Q3 result: Wipro announced its results for the third quarter ended December 2015 on Monday before market hours. Consolidated net profit of the IT company grew 1.88 per cent on year-on-year (yoy) basis to Rs 2,234 crore. However, it fell 0.06 per cent on quarter-on-quarter (qoq) basis. (PTI photo)

Air India: Air India has submitted its new position on the 5/20 norm to the Civil Aviation Ministry, which has to take a final call on the issue before sending it to the Union Cabinet for approval, sources said. Under the rule popularly called 5/20, a domestic carrier is allowed to fly abroad only after completing five years of domestic operations and having a minimum of 20 aircraft fleet. (PTI photo)

MakeMyTrip: Online travel company MakeMyTrip is under probe for alleged service tax evasion of Rs 75 crore. The Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence (DGCEI) has registered a case against the online travel services provider for allegedly not depositing service tax which it had collected from the customers, official sources said. Following the probe, one of the company’s senior executives was arrested.

Tata Steel: The UK government is considering to offer a loan to the potential buyer of a Tata Steel plant in the east of England to help support the crisis-hit British steel industry, according to a media report today.
