Spicejet discount offer, applicable on the budget airliner's mobile phone app and website, is promising to cut airfares by 15% and 10% respectively. The 3-day discount offer period begins Thursday (i.e. September 17), and will remain open till Saturday (i.e. 19th September). Airfares may vary from sector to sector depending upon the travel distance and date of travel. Spicejet discount offer has been launched into a crowded market as AirAsia India too had earlier come up with promotional schemes offering fares starting from Rs 1,090. Jet Airways is also offering a 15 per cent discount for passengers flying on Tuesdays. Budget carrier GoAir had earlier announced a similar promotional offer for passengers flying on Tuesdays.
