Narendra Modi in Davos: Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday joined world leaders to attend the World Economic Forum 2018 in Davos Switzerland. The 48th annual conference is being held in the Swiss Alps from January 23-26, where PM Modi gave the opening plenary at the forum on January 23. He became the first Indian PM in two decades to join the world’s top business leaders in the Swiss resort town of Davos. The last Prime Minister from India to visit the forum was HD Deve Gowda, who visited the conference in 1997.
