Happy Karwa Chauth 2023: Karwa Chauth, also known as Karva Chauth or Karaka Chaturthi, is an auspicious Hindu festival. It is celebrated during the Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha in the Hindu month of Kartik across India. On Karwa Chauth, married women observe a fast from dawn till moonrise for their husbands’ long lives. For the unversed, the wives don’t drink water and eat food throughout the day, pray to Karwa Mata, Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, and Lord Kartikeya, worship the Moon, and break the fast after offering Arghaya to the Moon. After praying to the Moon, women eat a morsel of food and drink a sip of water from their husbands’ hands.
Here are some of the messages, WhatsApp statuses, and images that you can use and share on the auspicious occasion.
- The day seems long and Moon doesn’t show, thirsty, hungry, yet on the go. Salute Indian women for their sacrifice and love an incarnation of goddesses from heaven above. Happy Karwachauth!
- Let’s look at the moon together today. Just the way it shines in the sky, let the love leave a mark of forever in our lives.
- “On this Karwa Chauth night, may the tinkling of you bangles and hues of mehndi bring you good luck! Happy Karwa Chauth!”

- Sukh dukh mein hum tum
Har pal saath nibhayenge
Ek janm nahin saton janam
Pati Patni ban ayenge
Happy Karwa Chauth 2023!
- “I see you and my fast is complete.
There’s one moon in the sky and one in front of me
I couldn’t have asked for anything more
Thank you, love, for all your love.
Happy Karwa Chauth 2023
- We may celebrate this day once a year, but I celebrate your presence in my life every day, every minute. Happy Karva Chauth, husband!
- May the sindoor testify your prayers, the mangal sutra reminds you of promises that bind you, and the colour of mehendi prove the depths of your love. Happy Karwa Chauth.

- Wishing for a love that’s as unbreakable as the bond between Lord Shiva and Parvati. Happy Karwa Chauth, my beloved.
