Nintendo in April 2016 had announced the company’s next home console’ global launch in March 2017, and with the code name NX. If rumours are to be believed, Nintendo NX now has a name, probable release date and the games lineup. The company had has been silent about specs of the device but thanks to a few rumours and their reports we can get at least some indication on what the Wii U’s successor will be. One of the reports says that Nintendo’s next will be named as ‘Focus’, and it might be scheduled to be revealed on September 21 though it will launched on March 10 next year.
Though Nintendo hasn’t really said much about the next hardware revision, the one thing it has confirmed so far is that it will be more distinct than it’s last two consoles. This is quite believable since Nintendo is a company which is not afraid to experiment so it will be interesting to see how the next controllers will be like, from a company which gave us the Wii remote or Wii U Gamepad. A few games which are also expected to be the flagship games for Nintendo Focus has been named in the reports as: “Pokemon Gold And Silver,” “Super Smash Bros,” “Super Smash Bros. Melee HD,” “The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild,” and “F-Zero^2”.
There were also reports that Nintendo’s next device would mainly be a handheld console that will be able to connect to the TV using a docking station. In a few interviews and reports it has been made clear that the new device will appeal to everyone, from gamers to gamer’s mothers. Whatever it is, NX remains a curiosity among consumers since its knowledge from March last year. There maybe some announcements in September according to the rumours, but there is no confirmation on the same.
