Targeting the youngsters in the age group of 18-25 years, Hyderabad-based Celkon Mobiles today launched ‘Campus A359’, what it claimed to be a 3G smartphone at the price of a feature phone.
Priced at Rs 2,499 “Campus A359” has features like 3G smartphone, dual sim, 1 GH Processor, Android operating system, 3.5 inch display and 2 MP rear camera/flash, Celkon Chairman and Managing Director Y Guru told reporters here.
The company, which started in 2010 with Rs 80 crore, has grown into a Rs 1,000-crore entity by selling seven lakh phones per month in the last fiscal, Guru said.
