The enforcement will be gradually rolled out in India over the coming months. To help creators adjust, YouTube will initially remove content that violates the new guidelines without issuing strikes. The company will also prioritise enforcement on newly uploaded videos, focusing on preventing the upload of misleading content rather than penalizing older videos.
