Donald Trump’s The Trump Organization has ventured into the telecom business with Trump Mobile – a new carrier service in the US and a $499 smartphone that is set to launch in September. Trump Service will be a complete package, including a single subscription fee for various benefits like telemedicine, unlimited text messaging to 100 countries around the world and more.
As part of the service, there are two products on offer initially. The telecom service includes the following benefits for US citizens:
- Unlimited talktime
- Unlimited texting
- Unlimited data, with first 20GB at high speed
- Nationwide coverage on the US networks
- International calling to 100 destinations
- Device protection coverage plan
- Roadside assistance provided by Drive America
- Telehealth and pharmacy benefits
- Unlimited 24×7 all year telehealth via video or phone
- Mental health and wellness
- Prescriptions discount program
- Price 47.45 USD per month subscription charge
Trump T1 Phone launched as the brand’s first smartphone
Trump Mobile has also revealed a new custom smartphone with a gold back panel with the Trump Organisation’s logo and the US Flag embossed. The phone, called the T1 Phone 8002 (gold version), features a 6.78-inch punch hole AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera on the back, a 5,000mAh battery, an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock.
The device is priced at $499, and users can book it with a down payment of $100. Trump Mobile doesn’t reveal the chipset but confirms 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 20W fast charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the device.
