The Google Pixel 9a is rumored to be released on March 19, 2025, in Europe and the US sales are expected to commence on March 26, 2025. This seems to be earlier than other releases in the Pixel A-series which shows that Google is making an attempt to change its strategy to marketing mid-range smartphones. The Pixel a series phones have traditionally been launched in May-June in the past.
Expected price of Pixel 9a in Europe and UK
As per Information in Dealabs, the Pixel 9a will be available in two variants based on storage availability along with region based pricing as shown below.
Europe- 128GB model – EUR 549 (roughly Rs. 50,000) and 256GB model – EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 58000)
UK – 128GB model – GBP 499 (roughly Rs. 54,000) and 256GB model – GBP 599 (roughly Rs. 65,000)
Pixel 9a colour options
The Pixel 9a 128GB model will be available in four colours- Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain. The 256GB model will be limited to Iris and Obsidian only.
Pixel 9a expected specifications
The Pixel 9a is expected to utilise the Tensor G4 chipset which is the same processor used in the Pixel 9 series. The device will most likely be configured with 8 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB storage to enable seamless execution of day-to-day activities.
The phone is said to feature a 6.3 inch Actua display with a protection of Gorilla Glass 3 on top and IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. The upcoming Pixel 9a is rumoured to include a 48MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera for photography enthusiasts. The phone is said to be backed by a 5,100mAh battery with support for 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging support.
