The Realme Pad 2 is finally getting a Wi-Fi only variant in India, almost a year after making its debut in the country. Initially, it was only sold with LTE and so we can expect a more affordable pricing for what it is already a “budget-centric” Android tablet. Realme will launch the Pad 2 in India on April 15, alongside the Realme P1 series smartphones.

Realme Pad 2 Wi-Fi variant India launch
The Realme Pad 2 Wi-Fi variant appears to have the same specifications as the LTE model launched last year. So it is expected to come with an 11.5-inch 2K (2000x1200p) resolution LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and an 8,360mAh battery with 33W fast charging. We’re also likely to get quad speakers with Dolby Atmos playback support in addition to a headphone jack in this tablet.
The original launched with Realme UI 4.0 for Pad which based on Android 13. It remains to be seen if the Wi-Fi variant will shop with Android 14.
Realme Pad 2 6GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999. Realme Pad 2 8GB/256GB model is available for Rs 22,999. The Wi-Fi only variant is expected to start a bit lower depending on memory configuration.
Realme P1 — early bird sale announced
Realme has additionally announced that it will hold an “early-bird” sale for the upcoming Realme P1 on the launch day itself — April 15. The sale will kick off on Realme online and Flipkart at 6 PM through 8 PM. Coupons worth up to Rs 2,000 will be available for grabs during the sale.
The Realme P1 will boast of a 120Hz AMOLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. It will have a starting price of less than Rs 15,000. A pro model with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will accompany it. Realme will also launch the T110 wireless earbuds on the same day.
