The Realme P series 5G is making its global debut in India today. The line-up boots two models — the Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro. The “pro” maybe more powerful but the P1 is more interesting. It brings a bunch of “quality of life” features including a 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7050 processor, and 45W fast charging for less than Rs 15,000 — at least at launch.
Realme P1 5G price, availability
Realme is offering up to Rs 2,000 “coupon” discount on the Realme P1 at launch. The phone will come in a choice of 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB for Rs 15,999 and Rs 18,999. But at launch, Realme will sell them at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. The early-bird sale will kick off on Realme online and Flipkart at 6 PM through 8 PM today while more general availability is pegged for April 22.

The Realme P1 has a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of claimed peak brightness. The panel supports rainwater touch to prevent ghost touches when exposed to rain or splashes (the phone is also IP54 rated).
Powering the Realme P1 is a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Reverse wireless charging is also available. The phone has dual speakers and an in-screen fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. Running the show is Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. For photography, the Realme P1 has a dual setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor paired to another 2-megapixel “B&W” sensor. The front camera is a 16-megapixel.
