Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S24 FE, a mid-range addition to its popular Galaxy lineup, following the successful launch of the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year in January. Priced at $649.99 for the 128GB version and $709.99 for the 256GB model, the S24 FE aims to deliver flagship features at a more accessible price point.
While the design of the Galaxy S24 FE might remind you of its predecessor, it comes equipped with the latest AI software capabilities, including generative photo editing and instant slow-motion features, a significant upgrade to watch our for.
The phone features 6.7-inch OLED display, which now boasts slimmer bezels for a more immersive viewing experience. Under the hood, the device is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400e processor., Samsung has implemented a larger vapor chamber this year to help maintain performance during intensive tasks.
The camera system on the S24 FE includes a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP selfie camera. For the first time in the FE series, Samsung has introduced its ProVisual Engine, an AI-driven camera technology designed to improve photo quality. This means users can expect clearer, more vibrant images, even in challenging lighting conditions.
In addition to the S24 FE, Samsung also announced the LTE version of its Galaxy Watch FE, available for preorder at $249.99.
Samsung didn’t stop there; the company introduced two new tablets: the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus priced at $999.99 and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra at $1,199.99. Both tablets feature large displays, with the Tab S10 Plus offering a 12.4-inch screen and the Ultra boasting a 14.6-inch panel. They are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 Plus processor and come with anti-reflective coatings, quad speakers and the S Pen.
Compared to the previous Tab S9 Ultra, Samsung claims the new models deliver significant performance boosts, with an 18% increase in CPU performance, a 28% boost in GPU capabilities, and a 14% improvement in NPU performance. These enhancements will support features like Note Assist and Draw Assist, enabled by a new Galaxy AI key on the tablet keyboard.
