Samsung Galaxy Book 4 series launched in India starting at Rs 1,14,990, no word on Galaxy Book 4 Ultra yet

Samsung is bringing the Galaxy Book 4 Pro (14- and 16-inch), Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 4 360 at this point.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 series has officially launched in India. The line-up, which was announced globally late last year, and is a follow-up to the Galaxy Book 3 range of laptops, will be available for pre-bookings from February 20, 2024. Samsung is bringing the Galaxy Book 4 Pro (14- and 16-inch), Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 4 360 at this point only with no word on the top-of-the-line Galaxy Book 4 Ultra.

The big new update is the processor. All the laptops are powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra chips and so, artificial intelligence (AI) is one of their big ticket feature. Samsung in fact goes so far as to call the Galaxy Book 4 series its most intelligent laptop line yet. All the models are rocking a touch-enabled display and improved cooling.

The Galaxy Book 4 360 starts at Rs 1,14,990, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro at Rs 1,31,990, while the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 starts at Rs 1,63,990.

Pre-bookings start February 20 on Samsung online, leading online stores and select retail stores. Samsung has announced benefits worth Rs 5,000 for pre-booking customers. Bank cashback worth Rs 10,000 or upgrade bonus up to Rs 8,000 will also be available in addition to no-cost EMI option up to 24 months.

A Live Commerce event will be hosted on Samsung online starting February 20, where customers can get an additional instant cashback of Rs 8,000 on pre-booking the Galaxy Book 4 series.

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro comes in two sizes— 14- and 16-inch. Both have mostly the same specs: a 16:10 touch AMOLED display with a 3K (2880×1800P) resolution, variable refresh rate (48~120Hz) and 400nits peak brightness, choice of Intel’s Core Ultra 5 or the Core Ultra 7 CPU paired with integrated Arc graphics, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB SSD, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support, plus Thunderbolt 4 (x2), USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1 (8K@60, 5K@120), micro-SD, and headphone/microphone combo, studio-quality dual microphones, AKG quad speakers with Dolby Atmos playback, and a 1080p webcam. The 14-inch Galaxy Book 4 Pro gets a slightly smaller 63Wh battery (versus 76Wh in the 16-inch) and a backlit keyboard without numeric key.

The Galaxy Book 4 360 is a convertible option and so, it ships with an S-Pen stylus in the box while spec-wise, it is virtually identical to the 16-inch Galaxy Book 4 Pro except that it tops out at 16GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Book 4 360 comes with a 15.6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, choice of Intel’s Core Ultra 5 or the Core Ultra 7 CPU paired with integrated Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB SSD, and a 68Wh battery running the show.
