The Poco X6 Pro is confirmed to launch in India soon. Poco hasn’t specified the model yet, but unless Poco pulls a rabbit out of its hat on D-day, that’s the phone we’re likely to see headlining the upcoming “Poco X6 series.” The Xiaomi spin-off is also sharing another juicy detail which confirms the phone in question should be the X6 Pro. The choice of chip.
The Poco X6 series will mark the India debut of MediaTek’s Dimensity 8300-Ultra. That signals one more thing. The X6 Pro is all but confirmed to be a rebranded Redmi K7oE, corroborating rumour mills that have all been pointing toward the same for weeks now.
Poco hasn’t revealed the exact timeline of launch. Nor has it given out any other specific around design but with the hype-train kicking off now, it’s only about time we’ll get to hear more about the Poco X series. The mention of a series also suggests that Poco may be gearing to launch the Poco X6 alongside which itself is rumoured to be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 5G. It would then be a bit different from the Poco X5 series launch as Poco had launched the X5 Pro before the X5 this year.
The new series will be sold through Flipkart, much like any other Poco phone. The dedicated product listing page is live at the time of writing as well.
Anyhow, looking at the Redmi K70E specs, we can expect the Poco X6 Pro to come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness alongside the support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision standards, a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, and a triple camera setup headlined by a 64-megapixel main sensor. The Poco X6 Pro could be among the first Poco phones to launch in India with Xiaomi’s freshly announced HyperOS software. Watch this space for more updates.
