OnePlus 11, OnePlus’s current-generation flagship phone, is getting early dibs on Android 14. But conditions apply. OnePlus has taken to its official blog to announce that it has started rolling out stable OxygenOS 14 (which is based on latest Android 14) for the OnePlus 11. The build is only available for users in India who participated in the Close Beta and Open Beta versions at the time of writing though. OnePlus says it will “gradually” be offered to the wider community without mentioning a clear timeline.

The company says OxygenOS 14 integrates feedback from the OnePlus community, and it has led to “significant performance optimisation, an upgraded Aquamorphic design, Pantanal Service for interactive Fluid Cloud, and much more,” in the latest update. OnePlus is also highlighting the update’s “seamless integration with Microsoft Windows PCs through Microsoft Phone Link” that is said to facilitate “rich cross-device experiences and redefining productivity.”

The stable Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 update for OnePlus 11 comes with the build number CPH2447_14.0.0.201(EX01). To update, your OnePlus 11 should be on either CPH2447_13.1.0596(EX01) or CPH2447_13.1.0595(EX01) builds, OnePlus notes. The update can go up to 5GB and OnePlus advises users to ensure their OnePlus 11 devices are charged more than 30 percent before starting the process.

The OnePlus 11 was among the first few non-Google Pixel devices to get a taste of Android 14 in beta. OnePlus allows users to test it and give feedback and hopefully, the stable update that is rolling out now is free of bugs and undergone thorough optimisation. The OnePlus 11 is notably also the first smartphone from OnePlus to get the official stable build of OxygenOS 14. We can expect OnePlus to roll the software out for more devices in the coming days.
