It has been initially launched as an experimental tool for a select group of users in the United States. Upon installing the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.26 update, available on the Google Play Store, users gain access to a convenient button in the Chats tab, placed above the new chat initiation icon.
According to the news report, this dedicated shortcut streamlines the process of opening AI-powered chats, offering users a quicker and more efficient means of engaging with the feature. These AI-powered chats are accessible to a limited user group, with no specific date announced for a broader release. However, there are clear intentions to extend this functionality to a wider audience in the future.
