Multiple visuals of the regular iPhone 17, along with the Pro and Pro Max editions, have started appearing across the internet. A mock-up of the iPhone 17 Pro recently gained widespread attention on social media platforms. Adding to the buzz, an individual claimed to have spotted the Pro variant being used by a female traveler during a trial flight bound for Bangladesh. Apple is anticipated to unveil its iPhone 17 lineup sometime in mid-September 2025. Although the company has not officially announced the launch date, technology analyst David Phelan speculates that the reveal will most likely take place on September 9.
iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Design:
The base iPhone 17 is expected to closely resemble the existing iPhone 16 in appearance, with the majority of leaks and speculation centering around the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro models. At this point, there’s been limited information specifically about the standard variant, which is likely to receive the least number of design upgrades compared to the rest of the lineup.
According to well-known tipster Majin Bu, Apple might be considering a redesign of its signature logo placement on the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro. The leak suggests that the Apple logo could be repositioned just beneath the newly designed rear camera strip, rather than remaining in its traditional center spot on the back panel. This adjustment is reportedly intended to enhance the phone’s visual identity. Notably, accessory makers are said to be experimenting with this updated logo alignment in their case prototypes, based on the leaker’s information.
iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Performance:
When it comes to performance, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to run on Apple’s next-gen A19 Pro processor, which promises enhanced efficiency and noticeable gains in overall speed and capability. On the other hand, the standard iPhone 17 and the 17 Air are likely to retain the A18 chip—the same processor currently found in the iPhone 16 series.
iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Camera:
In an August 2024 research note, analyst Jeff Pu predicted that all four variants in the iPhone 17 series would be upgraded with a 24MP front-facing camera — a notable improvement from the 12MP selfie camera used in the iPhone 16 lineup. This forecast was later reinforced by prominent Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in January 2024. Additionally, Pu revealed in October 2024 that the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to feature a redesigned horizontal triple-lens rear camera system, which will include a 48MP telephoto sensor offering 3.5x optical zoom.

Apple is expected to maintain its consistent pricing structure for the base iPhone models in 2025. According to early leaks, the iPhone 17 may launch in India with a starting price of ₹89,900, while the newly introduced iPhone 17 Air could carry a tag of Rs 99,900. On the higher end, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are speculated to be priced at Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,64,900, respectively.
These figures are based on initial leaks and have yet to receive official confirmation from Apple, leaving room for possible price adjustments closer to the official reveal. In the U.S. market, the iPhone 17 is projected to start at around $899, while in the UAE, the expected retail price is approximately AED 3,799, based on early forecasts.
