OnePlus has officially announced the OnePlus 13. The Oppo spin-off brand has shared the first look of its next flagship phone and revealed its launch date. The OnePlus 13 will arrive in China on October 31, 2024. Globally, it is tipped to launch earlier than usual, too, possibly within this year.
The OnePlus 13 launch is pegged for the same week as the Snapdragon Summit where Qualcomm will take the wraps off the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 successor chip, aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Rumour has it that it will have a new name—Snapdragon 8 Elite. While not immediately confirmed, the OnePlus 13 will be among the first wave of smartphones, to come powered by the same processor. The other usual suspects are the iQOO 13, Realme GT 7 Pro and Xiaomi 15.

The OnePlus 13 is set to come in three colours—at least. In addition to the commonplace white and black, OnePlus has made a new blue shade which appears to be the hero option for this year. It seems this variant will have a faux leather back panel while the black and white should be matte glass.
True to the renders that leaked recently, the OnePlus 13 is indeed getting somewhat of a design refresh. The chassis is redesigned to be flatter, much like the newer iPhones. The Oreo-style camera assembly is now standalone—not part of the frame like the OnePlus 12 and 11—and a vertical strip runs through it. The Hasselblad logo is out of the arrangement, too, placed right above the strip. The alert slider is sticking around.
OnePlus has previously confirmed that the OnePlus 13 has BOE’s flexible OLED flagship second-generation 2K Oriental screen. It is completely flat and has slim bezels, as per the official renders shared by the company. The phone has a triple camera setup although OnePlus is yet to reveal their resolution and type of lens.
