While the implementation of the ad was unique, it was the brief appearance of a white iPhone held by Farah Khan that became the focus of intense online speculation.

Case makers have sold such protection cases for iPhones since years, aiming to ape the huge camera hump that rival Android flagship phones have had for years. Some cases even use this extended hump to hide a camera shutter, or another specialised design element.
Hence, the iPhone that Farah Khan is holding in the Flipkart ad is not an iPhone 17 Pro Max – it is rather an older iPhone Pro Max with an aftermarket case strapped on it.
Apple doesn’t do celebrity collaborations prior to release
Apple maintains strict secrecy around its unreleased products and usually avoids such a prominent display in a public advertisement. In contrast, Google loves to tease and even reveal its products prior to the official release in the hopes of building hype.
