OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT chatbot, has announced that ChatGPT can now browse the internet in real-time. This means that ChatGPT can provide users with up-to-date information on a variety of topics, including current events, sports, and entertainment.
Previously, ChatGPT was trained on a massive dataset of text and code, but it did not have access to the internet. This meant that its knowledge was limited to information that was available up to September 2021.
OpenAI has now blessed ChatGPT with new powers that helps its give more accurate and relevant information.

“Browsing is available to Plus and Enterprise users today, and we’ll expand to all users soon. To enable, choose Browse with Bing in the selector under GPT-4,” company announced on Wednesday.
The new web-browsing plugin allows ChatGPT to access the internet through the Bing search API. This allows ChatGPT to answer questions about current events and other topics in a more comprehensive and informative way.
The new feature allows ChatGPT to browse the internet in a real-time now. This means that its responses are more likely to be accurate and relevant now. However, the feature is now limited to only paid users.

OpenAI has also announced new voice and image capabilities in ChatGPT. The company is rolling out the ability to ChatGPT to Plus and Enterprise users over the next two weeks. The voice support is coming on iOS and Android while images will be available on all platforms.
“We are beginning to roll out new voice and image capabilities in ChatGPT. They offer a new, more intuitive type of interface by allowing you to have a voice conversation or show ChatGPT what you’re talking about,” OpenAI announced.
