Apple’s Beats brand has rolled out the Powerbeats Fit in India, expanding its well-known Powerbeats series. The new true wireless earbuds resemble the earlier Beats Fit Pro but introduce several upgrades, including a 20% more flexible wingtip design, a charging case that’s 17% smaller, and IPX4 water resistance on the case as well. Targeted at fitness lovers and outdoor users, the device promises a snug fit, durability, and easy portability.
Key improvements include a slightly extended battery life, the addition of an extra-small wingtip size for better fit options, and software refinements such as personalised spatial audio.
Key specs:
The earphones offer four wingtip sizes—one more than the Beats Fit Pro—allowing users to customise for comfort and stability. Unlike the Powerbeats Pro 2, these earbuds do not feature around-the-ear hooks. Both the buds and the case carry IPX4 sweat and splash resistance, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor use.
Inside, they house the Apple H1 chip, ensuring smooth iOS connectivity and support for features like “Hey Siri”, Find My, Automatic Device Switching, and Audio Sharing. On the audio front, the Powerbeats Fit integrates custom drivers, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency Mode, and personalised spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. Call quality is also enhanced with dual beamforming microphones that reduce background noise.
Price:
Priced at Rs 24,900, the Powerbeats Fit is available for purchase now on apple.com, with deliveries starting October 2. Buyers can pick from four finishes: Jet Black, Gravel Grey, Spark Orange, and Power Pink.
