After weeks of speculation and multiple leaks, Apple has officially announced the date for its upcoming flagship launch. Branded as “Awe Dropping”, the event will showcase the iPhone 17 lineup on September 9, 2025, at the company’s annual fall gathering in Apple Park, Cupertino, California. Apple’s forthcoming range is likely to feature four models — the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and the premium iPhone 17 Pro Max. In addition to the smartphones, reports suggest the company may also introduce the Apple Watch Series 11 and an upgraded edition of the AirPods Pro. In the run-up to launch, leaks have surfaced online suggesting that the regular iPhone 17 may arrive in as many as six different colour variants.

According to a social media post by tipster Setsuna Digital (translated from Chinese), the purported colour palette for the iPhone 17 series has been revealed. The base iPhone 17 model is expected to be available in black, white, pewter grey, green, pink, and light blue shades.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro has been spotted in five shades — black, white, grey, dark blue, and orange. While the tipster has not disclosed details about the Pro Max variant, it is widely speculated that it could share the same colour range as the Pro edition.

Apple is gradually strengthening its brick-and-mortar presence in India. Shortly after confirming a new outlet in Bengaluru, the company announced another upcoming store in Pune. The Apple Hebbal location in Bengaluru is scheduled to open on September 2, followed by the Apple Koregaon Park store in Pune on September 4.
This retail expansion comes more than two years after Apple inaugurated its first Indian flagship stores — Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in New Delhi, both launched within the same week. The Koregaon Park outlet will mark Apple’s second store in Maharashtra.
