British-Zimbabwean artist Rigormortiz will release a new single titled “Rich Rich” on August 1, 2025. The track features UK artist Onika J and will be available on major music streaming platforms.
According to the artist, the single addresses themes around financial independence, ambition, and the pursuit of long-term security. The lyrics include verses in English, Spanish, and Shona, reflecting Rigormortiz’s multilingual background and aim to reach diverse audiences.
Onika J’s contribution is expected to add a contrasting vocal style to the track. The collaboration marks the latest in a series of cross-genre releases by Rigormortiz, who has previously worked in hip-hop, R&B, house, and Afrobeats.
Rigormortiz, whose real name is Arnold Raphael, began releasing music in 2015 after moving to the UK from Zimbabwe. His earlier works include The Rigormortiz Project – Part 1 (2021), featuring artists such as Propayne, Viny, and Breana Marin. He has released tracks including “Bang Bang,” “100K,” and “Answer Your Phone.”
In addition to his music, Rigormortiz is involved in mentoring emerging artists, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds. He has stated an interest in supporting young talent through collaborative and community-driven projects.
