The journey was hard for Avinash Chate as he adapted to the challenges and certain academic setbacks to begin his entrepreneurial journey of setting up ABC Trainings. Repeating the 12 grade and getting detained during an engineering course made him bolder, and he worked against the odds in life.
Career path
ABC Trainings began in 2014. Originally conceived as ABC BIM Studio, it had no skilled manpower in Aurangabad for building and designing projects. Hence, a shift driven by the necessity to create a skilled workforce evolved into a thriving business. The training domain began as a career choice and later became a passion, leading Chate towards public speaking and a successful career in motivating and training others.
The initial challenges of establishing credibility in the training domain, especially at an early age, were overcome through relentless efforts, including conducting numerous seminars to raise technology awareness among students.
Business goals
Avinash Chate tasted success initially, but there were risks of overexpansion, getting into diverse fields like Staffing and Recruitment, GATE and IAS coaching, fashion design, graphics animation, and even an ice cream parlour. Each venture served as a valuable lesson in business.
Public speaking and corporate training began from Chate’s passion for motivating and training others. He then set up The Future Corporate and Business Coaching. Recognition from corporate and governmental organizations, including the Ministry of Defence, BARC, RBI, Sterlite, and Mahindra CIE, honoured his talent as a speaker and trainer.
The pandemic taught him to fight for the survival and growth of ABC Trainings during unprecedented times to make a shift in the way of functioning.
Financial Milestones
The financial journey of ABC Training reflects its success and impact in the training sector. With an initial investment of approximately Rs 3 lakhs generously provided by Chate’s father; the venture laid its foundation. ABC Trainings achieved a turnover of Rs 8 lakhs in its first year. In 2022, ABC Trainings reached a revenue of Rs 3 crores, an achievement by Chate, his team, and the students at the institute.
Looking Ahead Avinash Chate also authors books and undertakes new projects while working on other people’s potential and giving them the scope to shine. His journey from a struggling student to a trusted corporate trainer shows his attitude toward life and is a great lesson for others to follow.
