One of the most popular actors in the world, Brad Pitt, is now the owner of a swanky six-bedroom $12 million house in Los Angeles. Once owned by queer dating platform Grindr’s owner, Joel Simkhai, Pitt bought this house from the lead guitarist of the rock band, the Killers. As per the Wall Street Journal report, Dave and Emilie Keuning, the former owners, bought the place from Simkhai in 2021 for nearly $14 million.
The F-1 star’s Hollywood Hills house is located in a community called Outpost Estates, which has even housed Orlando Bloom and Ben Affleck. The Spanish-style house was originally built around 1989. The house spans across 8,385 square feet and overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
Inside Pitt’s new abode
As per the WSJ, Brad Pitt’s newest address has a double-height foyer with wood-beam ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. With an iconic architectural aesthetic, the arched corridor of the house leads to the main living room with black steel French doors and tin ceilings.
Outside, the property has a pool, tiered vegetable gardens, and a barbecue area. A hand-laid brick motor court sits behind a gated entry. Across his vast real estate collection, the Academy Award winner also has a home in Carmel Highlands, which he bought for $40 million in 2022. In 2023, Angelina Jolie’s former husband sold his LA residence for $33 million and paid $5.5 million for a Midcentury house in Los Feliz.
Brad Pitt’s most expensive assets
- Production house: The $594 million-worth actor co-founded the Plan B Entertainment production company. It was valued at $300 million during a partial sale to the French media group, Mediawan reported The Street.
- Acting: As per reports, Pitt charges $30-35 million per film with several box office successes like F-1, Mr and Mrs Smith, and Moneyball.
- Luxury Cars: With major investments in the entertainment industry, Pitt has high-value assets such as luxury cars such as the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, Bentley Continental GT, Porsche Taycan Turbo S, Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG, Audi R8 Spyder, among others, as per the Daily Mail.
However, Brad Pitt is also stuck in the middle of a high-stakes divorce with his ex-wife and actress Angelina Jolie. They are still involved in a legal battle over a winery in France, years after the separation.
