Education sometimes isn’t an easy outreach for many, and aspirants pursuing higher studies abroad have been easy for a privileged few. The financial factor happened to be one of the many hindrances to this pursuit of excellence. Those who faced these issues often warned others, deterring them from even trying because of the huge burden of loans from unreliable sources. Amar Bahada himself faced similar struggles and understood their plight. He wanted to bring about a change wherein students could aspire without guilt and take on their career choices.
Amar’s journey began in the small village of Kazipura, Sambhar, Jaipur, on 23rd July 1992. He was born into a family that later shifted to Jaipur in search of better opportunities. His father, Shri Sukha Ram Chaudhary, moved the family to Jaipur in 1984 to seek enhanced opportunities. Amar’s parents’ pursuit of providing the best for him has shaped his steadfast commitment to work towards making accessible education for all. This familial background laid the groundwork for Amar’s journey into education and entrepreneurship.

His Journey

Life has a way of testing resilience, and Amar faced his share of challenges during his educational and entrepreneurial pursuits. In the UK, he confronted study and business visa rejections, forging a path characterized by perseverance and determination.
Meridean Overseas Education launch
Undeterred by setbacks, Amar founded Meridean Overseas Education in 2016, initially operating with a modest team of three and a nominal investment of 5 lakhs. His grassroots approach involved personally pasting posters in rural areas to disseminate information about overseas education opportunities.
Amar’s vision extended beyond business as he launched the Meridean Excellence Scholarship, offering opportunities for study in Italy. In a bid to democratize education, he initiated a scholarship program aimed at middle-class families.
Company Initial Investments A milestone set from humble beginnings; Meridean Overseas Education witnessed exponential growth. The first-year turnover touched 50 lakhs, and by 2022, the company’s revenue soared to an impressive 100 crores as it launched an AI-powered IELTS preparation platform called ‘Prepare IELTS.’ This platform uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized feedback and recommendations to help students prepare for the IELTS exam.
