Navisha Raj, who has been receiving a lot of positive responses for the dating reality show ‘Temptation Island’, has said that the show has helped her grow emotionally and the reason behind the same is the challenging environment on the show where the emotions are at an all-time high.
Navisha feels that the premise of the show is such that even a normal emotion, which would feel like a fleeting occurrence in the outside world, is felt 3 times in the show.
Talking about the same, she said, “I feel that both as an actor and as a person I have grown emotionally during the course of ‘Temptation Island’. The show and the villa have taught me so much about the emotional connection and my emotional approach to any situation and that’s because we were in such a space where our emotions were heightened”.
She further mentioned, “Even a normal emotion, we feel 3x inside the villa, unlike the outside world. Inside the villa, everyone is disconnected from the outside world and this all is very new for me and has happened to me for the first time. I assure the audience that they will see a very engaging graph of my personality as the show progresses”.
She also spoke about the one thing that was difficult for her but she decided to go for it to trigger a change in her personality and it has been serving quite well to her.
Elaborating on the same, she shared, “Before signing up for the show, I had a few things in my mind. The first is that since I’m a family oriented person, it was going to be very difficult for me to stay away from the family. I had earlier lived away from my family when I was in the USA but then I was fully connected with them through calls, videos, and texts. Here it was a complete blackout. It did take an emotional toll on me but I put myself through it because I wanted to emerge fearless on the other end”.
“Also, I was never a person who would approach first, and that has changed with this show. I’m getting better at approaching people, situations, and emotions”, she added.
