Loveyapa premiered in theaters on February 7, perfectly timed for Valentine’s Week. The film kicked off its box office run on the last Friday. By Day 4 (Monday), its box office earnings had decreased to Rs 33 lakh till now. As per the latest reports, the film’s total net collection in India has reached Rs 4.88 crore over its first four days.

According to the Industry tracker Sacnilk, The box office collection of Loveyapa over its first four days shows a steady performance with a slight dip on Monday. On Day 1 (Friday), the film earned Rs 1.15 crore. The collection grew by 43.48% on Day 2 (Saturday), reaching Rs 1.65 crore. On Day 3 (Sunday), the earnings saw a marginal increase of 6.06%, totalling Rs 1.75 crore. 

The film delves into the complexities of modern relationships, especially those influenced by phone interactions. It tells the story of Gaurav (Junaid Khan) and Baani (Khushi Kapoor), a couple whose relationship is put to the test when Baani’s father (Ashutosh Rana) demands that they swap their phones to prove their love. As the couple uncovers startling secrets, including hidden messages and past connections, their trust and communication are strained to the limit.

The film is a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today and serves as the big-screen debut for Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi. In addition to the young leads, the movie boasts a talented supporting cast, including Ashutosh Rana, Kiku Sharda, Grusha Kapoor, Tanvika Parlikar, Devishi Madaan, and Nikhil Mehta.
